Inclement weather fails to break TN voters’ resolve

Over 5.79 crore voters will cast their vote in 65,616 polling stations to select representatives from 232 constituencies. Barring Aravakurichi and Thanjavur, polling commenced in 232 constituencies across the State at 7 a.m. on Monday, in which over 5.7 crore people are expected to vote. West Bengal Phase II Assembly election polls records 70.82 %

The second phase of the West Bengal Assembly elections was held today at West Bengal. 383 candidates including 33 women are in the fray for the 56 Assembly segments, mostly in the northern part of the State. Assembly Election Dates 2016 : Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry Election schedule announced by Election Commission

Election Commission of India has announced the poll schedule of Tamil Nadu. A total of 5.8 crore electorates in the states will elect legislators for 234 constituencies which will be contested. 65,000 polling stations have been marked as registered by the Commission.
